Chatbots are a privacy nightmare. They even see what you're typing before you hit submit so they can prepare their 'answer' super quick. Glad uBlock Origin has some rules to block them out of the box.
Our internal chatbot is beloved by the whole company and has made a noticeable difference in team productivity. We are constantly looking for ways to make her smarter.
Cool! What’s it used for? Is it primarily developers or non-tech people who interface with it?
Primarily non-tech people talk to it. It’s a bridge between our engineering team and everyone else. You can message it asking to look up some data or perform an action. Basically, things that everyone would have to wait for an engineer to do. It also sends us notifications and reports about topics that different teams are interested in. It’s been referred to as another team member who is super smart and its avatar is a cat.
