The bombsight eye: envisioning nuclear war

which used to store a huge amount of nuclear weapons. It was closed in the late 1990s and one Saturday morning I saw a huge convoy of military vehicles roll through Ithaca that was leaving the base. I have no idea if the nuclear weapons were there or if they were just driving the rest of their stuff someplace else.
