Sometimes I get this weird, probably biased and prejudiced, but real feeling that every single piece of technology that has been born inside Facebook in the last ten years is a trap.
My take is that the teams and products I've worked on rarely, if ever, need to solve the same problems that Facebook needs to solve.
For me React has been the least trappy (is that a word?), but it can still be a total rat's nest.
