Eve Online x Microsoft Excel announced

Back in the day I ran a large corp and made an alliance named 'spreadsheets online' I submitted a clever logo that looked like a spreadsheet.

They denied the logo because it didn't meet their community style standards, banned me and by extension the corp and alliance for inappropriate conduct. I couldn't even appeal the ban. I said screw it and moved on.

Hilarious to me that they now embrace this.

Summary: Spreasheet Simulator in Space can now directly to spreadsheet software.

Is this an end around the office license? Can I now go into Eve in Free2Play mode to work with spreadsheets that I can then export out of the metaverse for people who pay for an excel license?

This is a huge Twitter birthday announcement from CCP’s 12th anniversary on Twitter.

And they managed to include a Soon in the announcement for the official Spreadsheets Online upgrade to Eve Online.

There had better be an XKCD about this someday.
