Probably because lots of people here know there's a good reason not to delete it.
I think what GP is asking is “All sorts of articles get nominated for deletion for spurious or incorrect reasons, and this isn’t a problem unless other editors agree with the nomination, so I don’t see a problem here. What am I missing?”
