Shoes inside seem so weird to me, I have a hard time associating that with civilized behavior.
It'd be like if some culture simply didn't wash their hands after using the toilet because "there's dirt everywhere anyway"
Yeah same here. Coming from an Indian background I always found it strange watching western tv shows where people were wearing shoes in lying on a bed!
