As has been said several times: you can't prevent abortions from happening by outlawing them, you only make those that occur less safe

Many activists I know are moving to the idea that if we can't have safe, legal abortions then we will settle for safe.

This is the same argument used against gun control.

Come on, there is a qualitative difference between buying an object and a medical procedure

Yeah, it's a lot easier to make the object yourself at home safely.
