This is probably an immoral viewpoint, because it isn't possible to universalize it, but:

Ha ha! After so many years of semi-officially cultivating their own hacking gangs, and not punishing those gangs as long as they didn't hack other russians, it's about time. Live by the sword, die by the sword, as Ben Franklin wrote.
