One person is on-site completing the inspection and the subject matter expert guides them through the process. Somebody said, “you mean like whatsapp? We’re also doing that with Whatsapp.”
I think there’s a point where a technology like videocalling is so flexible that it cancels out the need for simple addons. If someone says “Mom, can you show me how to make your chocolate chip recipe?” the lowest friction way isn’t going to be to download an app and sign up.
However, on the social aspect, maybe there’s room for your idea as a asynchronous recipe site where friends all make the same recipe each day and compare their dishes and discuss how it tasted? Think book-clubs and wordle?
