Employeed at 50 Companies

I've seen posts about people posting what they were doing about the bar being so low in tech. So I decided to post my own affairs.

I currently have 50 roles in tech; what I am doing is essentially outsourcing the labor to India, Poland, Nigeria, and Argentina. I am, basically, running an outsourcing company at this stage and have people process and handle requests in those countries and assign engineers. I learned a ton about quality control and am making 7.5M a year. I am able to juggle the work because most of my gigs are in startups and meetings rarely happen so i'm pretty much running on autopilot.

Just so I understand—because this is pretty incredible if I’m reading it properly—you are saying you are currently employed full-time (or part-time) at fifty different companies, and you’re able to get the work done by outsourcing it and having your employer think you yourself did it?

I've worked with companies that essentially manage projects using outsourced labor to India. If you can manage quality and finish projects then there are a lot of companies that are quick to hire. Code quality and timeline are extremely hard to manage and over time it impacts the firm's long term survival.

I'm interested in knowing how you handle quality control. Technical debt is usually a problem since it's hard to find long term coders that want to stick around for the long term so their code is rushed just to get it done without thinking about the future.

This is impressive to pull off! I wish you could share more (obviously without divulging too much detail to get you into potential trouble). There can also be an opportunity to provide the autopilot techniques and tricks you implement as a service or training workshop (that can take you to 10+m I guess!)
