The original Utah teapot(1.4L) is in stock

For those of us that are out of the loop and have no idea what the Utah teapot is, is this related to this Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utah_teapot

The original hand drawn bézier curves are also interesting:

From the Wiki:

> The real teapot is 33% taller (ratio 4:3)

So is this the original tea pot or the computer model?

This appears to be the original teapot, unsquished. Perhaps you could call it the proto-Utah teapot.

So how do you order one in the United States? Preferably from Utah?

Out of stock again, it would seem

It’s still in stock in many department stores here in Germany. Didn’t even know they had stock issues for online sales.

… but yeah, I remember thinking I was having a stroke when I first saw a row of various sized Utah teapots at a Galeria Kaufhof :).

EDIT: a bunch of other retailers have it: https://www.idealo.de/preisvergleich/OffersOfProduct/3666195...
