I'll bet he's being pedantic -- he probably doesn't own a house, but he's probably the beneficiary of a trust that owns one (or more).
When Musk takes hold of the newscycle HN becomes essentially a tabloid dedicated exclusively to cover Musk . Sad state of affairs.
People should learn, in time, that the odds that they make the thread which strikes gold are very low though.
Many threads are at 1 or 2 votes.
I only posted it because I happen to hear it on a podcast and found it interesting. I don't really care about whether my thread "strikes gold". I have enough HN gold already.
Musk says a lot of things. He should do great with Twitter...
