I think this guy is probably right, but his article is a rant filled with ad hominem attacks. He's not doing his side of the debate any favors.
To me it's the kind of issue that anyone who has a strong opinion about probably has an agenda. I find both the voracious "lab leak" promoters as well as the "it's a conspiracy" dismissers are both well inside the "methinks thou dost protest too much" category
