Social Media is Making us Stupid

social media doesn't make us stupid... social media companies do, with their stupid implementations....

Social media that is properly neutral will never be stupid. The problem is anti-conservative bias and censorship is skewing social media in a bad way. When Elon said he's going to buy twitter for free speech I created an account on twitter.

I connected to political conservatives, mostly Canadians. I "liked" a bunch of things. Never retweeted and never commented on anything. Just likes.

I made my first comment today on chess.

This post is offensive content? No certainly not. However, my likes and my association with a political movement has gotten me censored. Call me crazy but I think it's tremendously unhealthy to censor people because of their associations.
