Garden-Path Sentences

Does anyone remember "Oysters oysters oysters split split split"?

It's of the same form as

"Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo"

but I never could parse it and it's stuck in my brain since a 1980s linguistics class. the only clue might be that Split is a place ( a Mediterranean port).
