Democracy Is a Ruse

Power always rules. People are manipulated by those in power. The masses are almost always led rather than doing the leading.

At the end of the day what matters most is that people can lead relatively free private lives.

Technology and modern society are chipping away at that stated goal of democracy and allowing people to be manipulated by ginned up outrages and fears.
