Ask HN: Why my post is not showing on HN
My post is not showing on HK if it contains a URL. Am I doing something wrong?
Looking at your previous submissions, they are "Show HN" but they are not the type of post described in the rules for https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html
> On topic: things people can run on their computers or hold in their hands. For hardware, you can post a video or detailed article. For books, a sample chapter is ok.
> Off topic: blog posts, sign-up pages, newsletters, lists, and other reading material. Those can't be tried out, so can't be Show HNs. Make a regular submission instead.
There are some corner cases like a blog post of a project you made yourself, but your post are about current news that are covered in many other sources.
