My first thought is that there's all those little corners for grunge to collect in. Imagine the state of this setup after say, a years habitation by someone whose focus is so intensely virtual (or whose physical abilities are so limited) that they are willing to embrace this setup.
I think I'd want this made of easily wiped plastics with bins instead of shelves. Design for easy vacuuming or hosing it off.
