Meta Plans to Take Nearly 50% of Creator’s Earnings in ‘Horizon Worlds’

I mean, that's the whole point of the metaverse, no? To create new markets where transactions go through the middle man that is Facebook. I guess it is sort of surprising that they want to take so much money from creators. 50% is a lot.
