Ask HN: Advice for Buying a Domain on Sedo

Anyone buy a domain off of Sedo? If so, do you have advice for how to come up with an offer amount? I don’t know how the mechanics work, e.g. if I start too low will it result in back and forth haggling, or will the opportunity be lost?
