I think that it is clean as an API and much easier to use than io_uring. Maybe it could be implemented as a library on top of it.
Hmm, next thought: Can/should we go further--like GraphQL but binary?
The closest we have is Protobufs/gRPC and other similar RPC code generators. It is difficult to do GraphQL style ABI efficiently because dynamic queries require a lot of dynamic memory allocation and that is not good for low level code. (I may be wrong, perhaps there is a way if you can get hardware support).
