Ask HN: What are your monthly updates for April 2022?

--- completed --- 1. added news & recipe finders - search for X and click the corresponding news or recipe tab at the top of the results

try -> https://breezethat.com/?q=food

2. launched our study lab topic search -- indexes 200+ homework review sites such as Chegg, Quizlet, Spark Notes to find flash cards, homework Q&A, etc.

try -> https://breezethat.com/b/study

3. released (3) special edition topic searches for Women's History Month:

3a -> Wikipedia gender filter, https://breezethat.com/p/ladypedia

3b -> digital island for Kardashian fans, https://breezethat.com/p/digital-island

3c -> gender filter for full web, https://breezethat.com/p/gender-filter-beta

4. the big takeaways from (3) were:

4a. expanding on our notion of safe spaces based on gender, orientation, where want to boost signal and decrease bias when communities want better search discovery

4b. creating digital safe spaces for victims, e.g., when a person doesn't want to see any articles about abuse, violence, mass casualty events, etc.

4c. more to come on both

5. we released our time machine, while on surface it was some April Fool's fun, it also marks what we're doubling down on, which is time based searches. Specifically, you can use Breeze to filter by topic and also by time, e.g., your latest competitor results, customer changes around web, industry topics, etc.

5a -> time machine, which erases 2022, https://breezethat.com/p/time-travel-beta

5b -> example of time-based searches for most recent results on X, in this case, startup fundraising, https://twitter.com/DotDotJames/status/1504901028520640514

-- todo --
