5,713,613,640€ have been transferred from Germany to Russia since the war

Not enough gas? Raise the price, the gas will appear. Some plants will choose to absorb the cost - or transfer it to customers, some will choose to change what and how they do. That's how regular market economy works - independent players adjust to changing circumstances.

Where the gas will appear from? First, from those who chose not to buy the more expensive gas. Second, from new sources, which became profitable with raising prices. The changes are small, not drastic, there are obvious possibilities for adjustments.

Too cold for people in their homes? Gas will be taken from plants. Too costly for already stretched economically? Reasonable governments should adjust programs to help needy to include this particular need.

I don't see any domino effect for a relatively small change projected. Gas as a product has substitutes, there are many suppliers in the connected world, so even getting a major supplier offline doesn't invalidate the whole economical picture.
