Hej! We are three friends in Gothenburg, Sweden. Fueled by delicious Vietnamese ice coffee we have spent our evenings and weekends building the travel website that we felt was missing.

There are plenty of websites that help you decide how to get to a place, where to stay, and what to do. Humbo helps you decide where to go in the first place.

Today, we have 684 936 photos, 275 657 places, weather data from 3 292 weather stations, and 1 408 ratings. We keep improving our content with the help of both humans and AI, to present more and more helpful information about places around the world.

You can try it out by creating your travel bucket list or rating a few places that you have been to. Perhaps you have visited one of the world's happiest cities? https://humbo.io/humbo/lists/the-20-happiest-cities-in-the-w... Or one of the world's best places for food? https://humbo.io/humbo/lists/40-best-food-cities-in-the-worl...

Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!

This is great. As an avid traveller, I've always wanted to make an app/site that showed off where I've been and shared stories/photos from those places. I think people who are in to travel love to brag about the places they've been. Instagram is kind of that today, but you have to piece together all the data yourself.

Happy you like it! Please let me know if you run into something that could be better when you create your map, or if there are things that you would have added to your app/site that we haven't yet.

Here is my map: https://humbo.io/anders/map

So, are we rating whole cities? I don't really see the point. It's like nomadlist but with less data.

(sorry for being negative, but that's how I am)

You can rate cities, towns, villages, islands, national parks etc. Basically places that you would like to visit. Nomadlist is really cool! But focused around the remote/nomad lifestyle, and most travelers are not digital nomads.

Humbo: Right now you can rate places where you have been and get a beautiful map of your travels, and create your travel bucket list of places that you want to visit in the future. Later on we believe that we will be able to offer pretty awesome recommendations for our users as well.

Well done! The site looks great. Will be interesting to follow and see it grow :)

Thanks a lot for the kind words and for trying it out!

What an easy-to-use and great looking website. Why have no one thought of this earlier? To rate the destination and not just a specific hotel or restaurant. Nice job!

Thanks! That was our thought too, "Why doesn't this exist?" :) Do let me know if you find something that could be better as you try it out.
