Photographer’s 3,200 Undeveloped Film Rolls Hold History of Rock ‘N’ Roll

This is a great story and I hope the film is able to be developed with quality photos. I would love to watch a documentary of this fellow talking about his photos and the history of the Boston music scene. He must have a treasure trove of rock and roll memories in his head.

What a great story. Also a reminder at the end, in case you want to contribute:

"The GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign [1] to raise money for developing and digitizing Daniels’s photos has raised over $34,000 of its $40,000 goal at the time of this writing. Assuming the effort does get funded, the world may soon be treated to tens of thousands of new never-before-seen photos that add to the history of rock ‘n’ roll’s most famous figures."

The latent images in undeveloped rolls degrade much faster than the images formed after the film is developed.

So it may happen that if those rolls are ever developed, not much of the original content will be recovered.

Amazing thing. I hope that it will be appreciated as it should.

I would love to see 1973 era J Geils Band images!

Wow, absolutely interesting!
