Dell frequently does discounts, but the base price for their UHD panel in the XPS13 is twice the price of a MacBook Air. I had both, and still prefer the Mac hardware by a considerable margin.

The UDH screens on Dell Laptops are a bigger battery drain than the cpus....

I've got a Dell with 4k screen and it's great, but I would eagerly trade it for the M1's superior battery and noiseless cooling. My Dell doesn't last long or stay quiet if you try to do anything, even on windows.
