Ask HN: Where are the designers looking to contribute to FOSS projects?

9 pointsfallat2 comments

I've never heavily considered where "FOSS designers" are hanging out. I recently need a nice logo for my FOSS project but I have no idea where to start looking, other than posting an issue in its issue tracker.

So, where are they hiding? :D

(Said project is https://github.com/lf94/paizo-prolog)

In the Open Source Design community:

They even have a "jobs" section for paid and unpaid design work requests:

Opportunities to work for free abound if you are a designer.

Unless it is design software, and it ain't, there's no upside.

It's just work.
