Show HN: Hexxed. A new, original card game for online and in-person play

Definitely needs some visual examples of how to play in the How To section.

Adding symbols to the cards on each colour would make it more accessible. I am colour-blind and playing any game where colour is a necessary component is intimidating.

I'm currently trying to play vs the AI. There's a purple (?) 4 on my side, I have a purple 2, that would make 6. I try to play it and it says 'Not that!'. No idea what I'm doing wrong.

Is the card in the middle the discard pile? Should I be playing cards to match the number at the top of the card in the middle, or the bottom of the card in the middle? When there are 2 cards in the middle am I trying to make 6 from the top one or from both? Where do cards go from the middle? Is that the discard pile?

Hard to assess if the game has any depth until the instructions are made a lot clearer.

Hi, HN! I invented a new card game in a dream last December and it's now polished enough to show... I hope! The game is 100% Typescript w/ web components in Lit and graphics in SVG.

This version works best on a laptop, desktop, or other larger screen but will run on mobile.

Thank you both for the feedback. Definitely needs better help. I also need to make a video of the gameplay. The "scorecard" area on the left has some hover info and a way to see which cards are playable. Any cards that color match (either side to either side) should be playable.
