"The astora natural gas storage facility in Rehden in northern Germany is one of the largest pore storage facilities in Western Europe with its working gas capacity of around four billion cubic metres on an underground area of around eight square kilometres. It has around a fifth of the total storage capacity available in Germany and therefore makes a sustainable contribution to the security of supply of the country."
