Ask HN: API to collect the privacy policy acceptance

I'm a solo dev and wondering if creating a SaaS with an API to collect the privacy policy acceptance from users, would there be any value?

Wouldn’t you require the users to accept a privacy policy to accept or deny a privacy policy ?
