Why would this person go check out a school before even doing basic research like finding out how much it costs?

When I was looking at preschools for my daughter, there was no tuition info for the Montessori schools available until after the tours.

That should seem like a hard no then? But maybe different regions operate with different standards and that is the norm in your area

I just checked the 5 Montessori/Waldorf schools near me (Boulder) and all of them list their tuition very clearly.
