The referenced article about mobile crematoriums is more wild to me: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/02/23/russia-dep...

Beside the suggested purpose of covering up losses, I would think it also could be used to cover up war crimes.

It also might just be a convenient way of respectfully handling bodies.

Edit:

Footage was released by UK MOD. It is part of information warfare.

That’s not bad, in and of itself. I support Ukraine and respect the UK military.

They’re trying to psych out Russian soldiers. That’s fair.

But in the end, the Russians need to dispose of their dead. Conventional burials are probably not an option.

The only way to "respectfully handle these bodies" is to not send them into war.

No, bodies are sent to home. Period.

US never sent Bin Laden’s body home. It was respectfully cremated and buried at sea with a Muslim service.

You are comparing US most wanted terrorist with killed Russian soldiers? It is not bad comparison but are you sure you want to make this one?

FWIW, interviews with what are supposedly Russian soldiers thinking it was a continuation of the recent exercise: https://mil-in-ua.translate.goog/uk/news/ya-v-plenu-bat-shho...

I pray for Ukraine. This one more sign that morale of Russian troops is low.

There were also reports of Donbass males being forcibly conscripted to a military service prior to the invasion.

Ukraine is likely to win, the mighty russian army is a carefully crafted propaganda machine made of grunts and boys.

And severely outdated technology.
