It seems that much of the Ukrainian cellular network has been left up. No jamming, no outright bombing (at least that is being reported) and the country's internet connections have been left intact.

We have to consider that this is very intentional. There must be some Russian calculus that the wide sharing of content within Ukraine and without serves some purpose. It's possible that Russia sees it as a free intelligence gathering platform.

While this author may feel like this is a level playing field, I don't think that would be a safe assumption if you are actually on the ground in Ukraine.
