Ask HN: What stack should I use for youtube like website?

I'm not trying to make another YouTube website. It's just a small community that would need the ability to upload videos and browse them. What sort of software stack should I use for this? I really like Node.js. Is it ideal for this kind of thing? I'm also thinking about searching these videos, so maybe some good database that works well for storing searchable information?
