This site was created as a quick tool to search Reddit using Google. I've been typing this manually for years but this post motivated me to throw together a site to make it a little easier. https://dkb.io/post/google-search-is-dying

I like it.

The only thing which bothered me is that it uses google as a search engine. Can Startpage be used instead of google? I try to avoid as many google products as possible, mainly their proprietary ones.

Thanks! I can look into adding additional search engines. I've never heard of Startpage.

I deliberately mentioned Startpage, since it is a privacy focused search engine which gets it's result from google. https://www.fastcompany.com/90437058/this-alternative-search...

So when you are using Startpage, you are basically using google without any tracking.

Nice work :-) Have you considered adding an /r/random button on there, for lucky folks?

Haha no but I like the idea! I have thought about adding several buttons to search multiple sites. What other sites would you like to search?
