I'm wracking my brain about coming up with an acronym or backronym or some other bit of jargon that sounds like "mucil"... As somebody else said, the jokes just write themselves.

It also can be pronounced non-us-english-ish and it sounds like an SF term from Star Trek or something that the liver spits out when metabolizing (that word again!) something.

Or maybe a Greek philosopher or playwright? Euripides or Metamates or ...
