HTTP: //dl-cdn.alpinelinux.org/alpine/ is down (Error 503 Backend is unhealthy)

Someone has posted an issue on their GitLab instance as that is still up: https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/infra/docker/alpine-ww...

Some mirrors are available: https://mirrors.alpinelinux.org/

I've noticed AWS has a mirror of Docker images [1], I am hopeful they are mirroring the image itself and not just the metadata.

On their OFTC IRC channel #alpine-infra they stated that there was a DDoS attack against them.

Looks like the WWW site as well as some other subdomains (including bugs) are also down

Yeah this is biting us at the moment.
