Thanks.

Can Ukraine not hit Moscow with surface to surface missiles? Why would the Ukraine regime not employ that strategy?

Ukraine gave up its nukes after receiving "security warranties" from "Russian, the United Kingdom, and the United States" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_Memorandum_on_Securit...

Poland had similar warranties from UK and France https://history.blog.gov.uk/2019/03/28/whats-the-context-31-... It was all toilet paper.

Ukraine never had launch authority for these weapons, so this point is moot.

So i know nothing about how missiles work, but if you had physical access for decades, wouldn't it be possible to override those controls?

It might have been possible to repurpose them:

> They might have had to dismantle the warheads, remove the fissile material, and start again to construct new warheads.

but likely impossible to use them as intended.

I meant with conventional warheads. Drop a couple tons on Lenin in Red Square. Certainly it’s just symbolic, but if it’s successful, then it’s would be a failed test of the Moscow anti missile capabilities, and that has much more serious implications for Russia.

aww, how likely is this another White War Helms fiction produced by the idiots who brought you, "NATO's Cognitive Warfare," blah.
