I've been waiting over twice as long for the internet bubble to pop. Some of this stuff can stay irrational much longer than we'd expect.
And since I brought up Madoff, he managed to run for 17 years right under the nose of authorities. So I wouldn't count on their help any time soon either.

Rising rates. Will hurt stock markets too but sound businesses will always bounce back.
It will keep evolving. The only way anyone manages to kill crypto (as a technology and asset class hybrid) is by making it technologically obsolete.
