The title made me think he had died!

The link is actually a post about two books about RMS (edit: not even new books, just new to the blog post’s author).

God, same to me. I'm very conflicted about the guy, but it sank my heart to think that he died. Glad it's just a (possibly bad) post about his books.

This is the blog post’s author. The books aren’t even new to me, just new to many of the readers.

Huh. I always assumed, insofar as I thought about it at all, that his middle name was simply 'M'.

I thought his name was RMS Matthew Stallman.

RMS Matthew Stallman (italicized, like RMS Titanic)

Like Iain M. Banks, or David X Cohen (the X makes it sound cool)

I flagged this submission because:

1. It's not about anything other than RMS in a general sense (like, hey this guy exists). It's blogspam.

2. Because TFA contains nothing of import, the comments will just be a rehashing of the same tired arguments both pro- and con-.

Please (please) append the word "Essays" (or "Book") to the post title ASAP. This reads like an obituary and I'm sure many others will be concerned when seeing it in this form like I was.

1. I'm not a moderator and can't amend the title.

2. Why is it a priority that people not be "concerned"? They can just click the article and see what it's about.

I’m the post author. If people are deciding what the article is about based on its title (and the title is nothing more or less than the name of the article’s subject), they aren’t people I want as readers. The title stays as it is.

Also thought this looked like an obituary
