Oil terminals disrupted after European ports hit by cyberattack

Many nations have spent a long time neglecting cybersecurity for infrastructure (critical, semi-, or otherwise). And as with all things 'tech debt' it's a lot more expensive to fix down the line and there isn't the budget/willingness to do it. (I won't be surprised if it's combined with a healthy dose of "hope this doesn't happen to my stuff").

We're going to see more of this in the future (well it's already escalating) and I should expect that this gets woven into the tapestry of modern warfare alongside proxy and economic wars.
