Thats because the entire modern financial system has been hijacked by the scam known as KYC/AML. It's an incredibly expensive tax on the financial system's good faith participants while it brings very little benefits.

That's a pretty silly comment IMHO both in context (he got taken to the cleaners doing P2P, AML and KYC could have helped there) and out (AML exists for good reasons and it's not a scam)

Asset backed loans are generally a terrible idea.

Just get a normal mortgage or HELOC kids
