Ask HN: How do you make decisions?

Wondering if fellows here know of any ways to make decisions in life ? Like this job or that? Keep job or change? PhD or no PhD? Startup or no Startup?

A lot of people say about doing what you feel. Unfortunately, when I ask myself that question, nothing comes up. So, I crowdsource opinions and then ends up confusing me.

Wonder if people here have some tips and tricks to share to help me.
