Ask HN: 01/31/22 is here Is your company paying for Docker Desktop?

Yes. My company (>50.000 employees, ~ 4 billion revenue) apparently thought it too complicated to roll our own best practice stack based on OSS.

It’s more capital efficient to let Docker do it instead of your org replicating their work, paying someone internally to do it.

Yes and no-- some teams migrated off to either Docker CLI or Podman, and other teams ponied up the cash.
