I’m currently building something in Textual - it’s a joy to use and Will should be proud.

How do you deal with copy/pasting text from the terminal?

Last time I tried textual, my users couldn't put anything in the clipboard from their mouse selection.

If Textual is mouse aware (like Midnight Commander for example), you probably need to do it while the Shift key is pressed. If you prefer using the keyboard you can also use Shift+Control+C for copy and Shift+Control+V for paste.

Thank you for the tip.

Thanks so much for explaining what it is in the headline! I hope other submitters do the same.

Agreed—especially because Textual is also popular IRC software for macOS.

From https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html:

HN is against editorialized/clickbait headlines and moderators fix it right away, much to the confusion of readers.

If I didn't already know what Textual was, and the title didn't mention it, I might have read past this awesome library.

I wish there was an option to add explanatory hover text for this kind of submission.

Thankfully. For a second I almost clicked - I thought it was about the IRC client!
