If you consider Foxconn slave labor, maybe. Except Foxconn wages are generally considered to be good for the area (thus why so many employees do it seasonally for a few months during the ramp-up each year). It's a better factory than many.
Yes, the netting to prevent suicides looks really bad... until you consider Foxconn employs 1.2 million people. Their suicide rate once that is considered is lower than the general population. Perfect? No, but within reason.
Finally... every tech company uses Foxconn, from Intel to Google to AMD to Lenovo to Sony. Don't blame Apple when everyone is to blame.
