The Wendy Carlos Total Eclipse Page

Anyone who has seen a total eclipse will be greatly moved by the event and if given the opportunity will repeat the experience at a subsequent eclipse.

I have had the fortunate experience of witnessing three solar eclipse and they rank among the most wonderful experiences of my life. There's little point in amplifying further as I don't have the adjectives and wherewithal to adequately describe them.

If you've ever seen a solar eclipse then you're automatically a member of an exclusive club whose rights of membership are having witnessed such an event. Whilst specifics are often mentioned, there's no need for members to discuss the enormity and magnificence of such events amongst themselves because each knows there's nothing they can add to complement the other's experience - each knows that to do so then words would fail them.

Wendy Carlos has been very privileged in having seen so many solar eclipses and her accounts here are a remarkable record of those experiences.
