The most important thing for the web right now is to recover noscript/basic (x)html compatibility, that to re-enable light web browsers. Namely keep the door reasonably open for alternative implementations of light "web engines". It is going to be hard since google[geeko(mozilla)/blink(was a fork of webkit)] and apple[webkit] with their compagnon c++ compilers probably won't want that to happen.
