Show HN: A tool to help with Berlin's appointment problems

In Berlin, most government interactions happen at the Bürgeramt. If you need some piece of paper, you need to go there. Digital services are still lagging behind most countries. Getting an appointment at the Bürgeramt can be pretty hard, especially if you need it now. It got slightly better since I moved here 7 years ago, but it's still a frustrating experience.

I built a tool with a simple job: it watches for new appointments, and makes a sound when it finds one. It beats refreshing the page yourself.

A few years ago, a startup had a similar idea (as did many frustrated programmers since then), but they found it reasonable to book and sell those appointments. This made a lot of people really angry. This makes me think that the city will not let this tool run for long, but it's worth a shot.
