Definitely had a unique voice and style. I discovered him through Rocky Horror and always appreciated how he seemed to make exactly the kind of music he wanted and didn’t care what anyone thought or what was popular at the time.

I always thought he was best known for "I would do anything for love", but seeing that Bat out of Hell is just shy of being a top 20 all time selling album in the US, I can see I might be wrong on that assumption.

I just rewatched "Fight Club" a few days ago and was thinking "I just saw a movie with him recently!"

His story about meeting JFK in Dallas is epic.

His name was Robert Paulson.

This is a movie reference, Meat Loaf played Bob Paulson in Fight Club.

That was a character he played in Fight Club. His given name was Michael Lee Aday.

It was a direct fucking quote from the movie.

Apparently died of COVID-19, but you cant google that.

In an April '21 Interview he more or less prefigured his death:
